Sony 2015 TV Lineup

Sony is one of the most familiar brands in terms of LCD TVs. Sony is no longer presenting and offering LCD TVs in smaller sizes (screen) and they are now focusing on mid-range to wholly featured larger screen sizes. SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) is the executive and official name for the smart TV system in use by Sony on its most up-to-date TV’s. It undergone some important and major changes from its 2014 iteration, including the adding up of a wholly recommendations scheme and a number of interesting and impressive new aids to finding content.

2014 Sony Smart LED TVs scored greatly for the quantity of video streaming services it enclosed, and the presentation of the model was attractive and colorful. Positively, its limitations and boundaries when it comes to browsing apps and organizing were pretty disappointing and painful. Despite this disappointment, Sony Smart TVs come prepared with a well-brought-up list of video apps. Sony is unique in a special way among those TV creators in having its own music and video services. There is no bombshell that they were given a great attention.

Sony’s X930C is packed with technology and features to make you love watching television. The 4K engine is designed to give bright colors and contrast. Sony’s 4K processor will even increase the resolution of whatever you are viewing to 4K Ultra HD. Now you can watch all of your favorite shows, movies and streaming video with resolution four times better than regular HD.

Our review showed the sound coming from the X930C is just as impressive as the picture. The front-facing speakers made the sound come right at you but also give the impression of surrounding you. Sony even increased the size capacity of the television to provide larger speakers, which gives crisper and clearer sounds.

Another feature of the X930C series is the Smart TV function. Sony uses Android TV to deliver Smart capabilities. With access to apps and streaming video, the power of the Internet is at your fingertips and now on your television. You can perform voice searches and use voice commands, and even connect a PlayStation 3 controller to stream games directly to the TV.

The main thing you won’t find on this TV that you will in others – the main video input is component video as opposed to HDMI. Because the TV is packed with power, your utility bill is also slightly more for this television compared to other Sony televisions.

The Sony is very easy to use and the new voice activated remote makes it even easier. Now you really don’t need that remote. And accessing your streaming data or content on the Internet is easier than ever.

The Looks
Even for a mid-range TV set this series looks good. It gives you access to all your favorite HD movies, your streaming videos, explosive sports and more. The kids will love it as well, as there is a huge collection of apps, games and content on the Android TV.

The Clarity
I gotta say the clarity is amazing here, and most techies will agree. The new X850C has about 4 times more clarity than other models. Everything you watch, even YouTube looks good here.

4K Picture Quality
Sony has been working hard over the last 10 years to improve quality. They started with better quality in 2013 and have been upscaling to 4K. The X850C is a prime example of what 4K quality can do.
