I’ve reviewed plenty of televisions over the years and I’ve always been a fan of what LG offers. So, I was definitely excited to get my hands on the new LG G6 TV and see what it has to offer. Needless to say, I was not disappointed!

With its line of OLED televisions, LG is making it loud and clear – even though they are already one of the top TV brand’s, they aren’t resting on their laurels.

OLED provides such amazing pictures because each and every pixel can be controlled. Basically, the computer brain inside the TV makes every single picture work in harmony to make sure the image is as dark or bright as it needs to be.

They also use something called HDR, or High Dynamic Range, to blend colors and darks together seamlessly, resulting in crystal clear images that look amazing in any light and from any angle. You will also see more colors than ever before. In fact, the only other time I’ve seen so many colors is at the movies. But now, with LG G6 TV, the movies are in my living room!

The LG G6 also has 3D capability and even comes with two sets of 3D glasses. This is a really nice touch, since 3D glasses can be pricey. Thankfully LG includes a couple glasses with the television, so you can watch your favorite movies in 3D and let the action literally fly off the screen.

LG also updated their Smart TV interface, called webOS 3.0. They redid the interface to make it more user friendly. The result is a feature that you will immediately be able to use without confusion or the need for a huge user manual.

It is also very easy to connect mobile devices like phones and tablets. I really like this feature because I can easily show photos and videos to friends and family when they are visiting, and of course they look amazing on this TV.

Once connected LG G6 OLED TV to Wi-Fi, the entire internet is opened up to you. Browse websites, watch sports, stream videos from Netflix and check out the latest posts on your social media blog. All of it this is at your fingertips and is accessible with just a push of a button.

Speaking of pushing buttons, not everything has to be done with buttons. Thanks to voice recognition technology, many commands can be performed by speaking in to the “magic remote control”. Tell the TV to change to a specific channel, change the volume and more – just by speaking commands. This is a really cool feature you won’t appreciate until you’ve actually used it.

The LG G6 sound quality is on par with the picture. The speakers push out 80 watts of power, which is easily more than you’ll find in other televisions. The sound is designed by Harmon Kardon, which is well known for stereo systems and speakers. You get stereo and surround sound from the 4.2 channel system.

With this television in your home, you can expect a very cinema-like experience, all from the comfort of your favorite chair. Picture, sound and Smart TV features – this television has it all and should definitely be considered if you are in the market for a new TV.
