I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the new LG E6 television. Now that I’ve seen it close up, I know I made the right choice when I picked this television. The picture quality is out of this world, sound is great and the Smart TV features make this awesome TV even better.

The main reason to get a TV, of course, is to watch it. So, the picture quality needs to be as high as possible. Well, LG hit a home runner in this area.

If you thought Full HD was nice, wait until you see this 4K TV up close and personal. The depth and detail of the picture quality is hard to describe in words and give it justice. Suffice it to say, you will not be disappointed when you turn on this TV.

The 4K resolution is made possible by over eight million pixels. You read that right, over eight million. LG goes a step further by making it so the TV can control each of those pixels individually.

The LG E6 also supports High Dynamic Range and the new Dolby Vision standard. The end result is a picture that illuminates bright scenes perfectly while not losing a bit of detail during dark scenes. LG refers to it as “infinite contrast”, which is a great way to describe it. No matter what type of scene you are watching, the colors and details are incredibly sharp and vivid.

LG also tried a new approach to LED televisions, and I have to say it worked. They used a technique called picture-on-glass to apply the OLED module directly to the glass back panel, as opposed to applying it on a separate piece of glass. The result is a very, very slim profile. In fact, if you hang the LG E6 on your wall it will look more like a piece of art than a television.

Of course, the picture isn’t the only great thing about the E6 TV, although it is the best thing about it. The sound is also very admirable.

The sound system was designed by Harmon Kardon, which you probably recognize as a well-known maker of sound and speaker systems. The audio puts out 40 watts of power through a 2.2 channel speaker system, which isn’t as powerful as other LG televisions, but it is still nice.

You also get Dolby Digital, a DTS decoder and a surround sound mode. All of these come together to produce solid audio that pairs nicely with the amazing picture quality.

The TV also has 3D capability and comes with two pairs of 3D glasses. This is a really nice touch, since many TVs don’t include two pairs of glasses, which only means more money out of the consumer’s pocket. The 3D is passive, which means you don’t have to worry about batteries for the glasses.

Another nice feature of the LG OLED E6 is the Smart TV capability. Called webOS 3.0, it is a newly-designed interface that brings a lot of capabilities with it. Connecting mobile devices is a breeze, so it is really simple to display picture and videos on the television.

It is also really easy to switch between live TV and online content like streaming videos and social media content. Once this TV is connected to the internet, it becomes even more powerful and useful. I quickly found myself using the TV for things I use to do on my laptop or computer.

All of these features come together in a great package that doesn’t disappoint. If you put this TV in your living room, I know you will be just as happy with it as I am.

If you are looking for a television with awesome picture quality, 3D capabilities and powerful Smart TV features – the LG E6 OLED TV is what you are looking for.

The 4K resolution and OLED technology come together to create out-of-this-world picture quality. There are over eight million tiny pixels working together to produce vivid colors and sharp details, even in really dark scenes.

3D is a nice touch, as is the included two pair of 3D glasses. You will also like the Smart TV feature, called webOS 3.0. With it, you can surf the web, stream videos, connect mobile devices and more.

About the only area this TV falls short, at least compared to other LG televisions, is the sound. While nice, it is not as powerful as other LG TVs with more power and more speaker channels.

However, this is still a great TV that has a lot to offer. Make sure you check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
